Over the past 3 years, we've received so many styling & design inquiries from supportive customers who were in search of an extra set of eyes to help them do everything from brightening up a room in their house, lending a helping hand in the hunt for vendors (florists, wall art sourcing, invitation designers, furniture sources, etc.) and/or asking to use specific display pieces in the store for an event they were throwing. When it comes to making things just a bit prettier or pulled together, I always jump at the chance to help. After all, you learn quite a few tips and tricks along the way while setting up/running two stores.
It felt super dreamy driving up and down the PCH into Malibu listening to The Rolling Stones and Eagles, blasting The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds while heading from The Getty down into Beverly Hills, listening to Real Estate after our bike ride through Venice, and remembering Elliot Smith while driving through the streets of Silver Lake. Oh, and who can forget listening to Janis Joplin as our highly entertaining tour guide blasted Piece of My Heart while passing her final home on a Dearly Departed Tour (GO ON THIS! especially if you're a fan of notorious information like i am) It's so important, atleast for us, to listen to specific music during specific experiences because it's a fantastic way music can transport you to certain memories even when they're long gone.
